Topic: half way???

I was wondering if anyone feels like myself.... half way there??
The main reason is because when I over sleep..... which does happen sad
I end up sleeping only 3 hours.... and it is always 3 hours it seems that
I over sleep....

I figure that if I'm getting 2 hr's of sleep napping and 3 more = 5....
I guess thats pretty normal.
But not for me the usual 8 (plus) hour sleeper.

So I geuss is they anyone else who is stuck in adaptation and feels like there body has
tried to adjust.... somewhat?? huh

Re: half way???

Yeah I can relate right now.

I don't however, feel that half-adaptedness is going to make the rest of the process any easier.  I successfully overcame sleep deprivation and zombie-mode only to later have to resort back to long sleeping due to outside circumstances.  But, I think I need to hit that zombie-mode again to get back into the adaptation process, and now it actually isn't such a quick process to get into sleep deprivation because my body is half-adapted. It's almost like it's more difficult now because I can't just go into zombie mode after a couple of days of polyphasic sleep and quickly overcome it and move on.

Anyway, half-polyphasic is still inifinitely better than monophasic in my opinion and my love for it is what keeps my motivation going to achieve full adaptation.

Re: half way???

ha yah!!!

I don't think
half-polyphasic is healthy.....
So actually I'd have to say that monophasic is better then half way... sorry

But I do love the challenge!! ha its kicking me in the butt
I hope I adapt soon..... before "outside circumstances"
TAKE OVER!!

Re: half way???

Sounds like you could do Everyman 3 easily wink

The oversleeps are really killing you, it sounds like. You gotta find a way to get that under control.

Re: half way???

I was okay with the halfway adaptation for a while, too, before it all fell apart. I was still tired, but I certainly felt better on the whole than on monophasic. I don't think your body can keep it up for very long. In any case, mine learned to rely on the oversleeps that I gave it, such that I could only manage to get through about every second night without problems. Of course, YMMV.
